4th Annual Pan-American Submission Grappling Results

Coach Nielsen finally back from a severely broken finger has entered another submission wrestling tournament. This time, the Pan-Americans! Nielsen took a Silver Medal in his weight class and a Silver Medal in the Open Weight Division. Upon request, he entered into the Open Weight Division where he went undefeated! Unfortunately in his final match he suffered a severe knee injury and was unable to compete for the Gold Medal in the overalls in the final match. Upset by his inability to compete for the Gold, Nielsen found little satisfaction in placing higher than the opponent he took a 2 point loss to in his first Silver Medal (in his weight division).
